Counting the days

T-19 days until we're spending the first weekend of the season at "the shore" and I can't wait! I just saw this pic of Zooey on weheartit and it reminded me of the gorgeous vintage-inspired swimsuits I saw online at Anthropologie. Love. And somebody just-so happens to have an Anthro gift card burning a hole in her pocket, courtesy of her fabulous in-laws. Lucky me!

Stemware

You can call me conservative, but I have never been a fan of the garter toss at weddings. The whole thing just makes me avert my eyes. Until I set my eyes on this provocative little number. . .
Does it not make you do a double-take? A chic alternative to what you you usually find out there. If you must garter, then I suggest something along these lines, designed by La Boheme. Thanks to The Brides Cafe for pointing it out!

Floral loveliness

Thanks to Elements of Style and Design Sponge for tipping me off to the fun and fabulous floral fabric shop, fanciful ambiance and just overall enviable lifestyle that is Emersonmade!

Simple and stunning

You know if the fates don't want me to spend so much time on the internet, then people need to stop putting such delicious distracting blogs out there. I'm just saying.

Current time-killer: two ellie and these bridal portraits.
The bride's dress once belonged to her mother, and she had it reworked to create a more modern silhouette. But the real winner for me is the makeup - SO natural and gorgeous. I just love how effortless her whole look is.

What was I doing again?

This way please

Gown glee

Did you watch? Admittedly I fell asleep for the last half hour and had to rewind to watch the major awards. Hooray for Sandra (hometown girl!) and hooray for gorgeous gowns! My two faves from the evening:
Rachel McAdams in Elie Saab
Lea Michele, in Oscar de la Renta

A little drab you say? I don't know, they speak to me. Ooh and did anyone else have the same thought I did when Rachel McAdams presented with Jake Gyllenhaal? Love match?
